Dot Consortium Services
- What Does Your Company Receive?
- American Mobile Drug Screening works with TeamCME to make consortium services available to eligible transportation employers and owner-operators.
- A consortium, also known as a Consortium/Third-Party Administrator (C/TPA) program, brings eligible employees or drivers from participating organizations into a random testing pool.
- TeamCME provides consortium-related back-office support, including random selection administration. American Mobile Drug Screening serves as your service contact for enrollment coordination and related testing arrangements.
- Consortium Enrollment Includes :
- 1. Enrollment Coordination
- We help coordinate the submission of your company and eligible participants for enrollment in the appropriate consortium program. Enrollment requires the applicable company information, participant information, and supporting documentation.
- 2. Random Testing Pool Administration
- Through TeamCME, eligible participants are entered into the applicable random testing pool.
- Random selections are administered through the consortium provider's process.
- 3. Random Selection Notifications
- When a participant is selected, the consortium provider supplies the applicable notification information to its participating member. We help coordinate communication and the next steps in arranging testing. For DOT-regulated testing, selected employees must be notified and tested according to applicable requirements. Random selections must remain unpredictable, and advance notice must not undermine the integrity of the program.
- 4. Testing Coordination
- We help coordinate the collection process for selected participants and discuss available testing locations, including options through our nationwide network. The collection location and appointment arrangements depend on the participant's location and the service required.
- 5. Enrollment Documentation
- Following successful enrollment processing, the consortium provider issues the applicable enrollment documentation and eligible participant information. We help facilitate the enrollment process and communicate relevant documentation to the client.
- 6. Participant and Company Information Updates
- Changes to company contacts, designated employer representatives, and participant rosters must be reported and processed as required by the program. We help coordinate applicable updates so that the consortium provider can maintain the appropriate records. Your business can contact American Mobile Drug Screening to discuss enrollment questions, random testing notifications, collection arrangements, and additional testing needs.
- Our goal is to make the process easier to manage while helping you understand your responsibilities.
- Who Should Consider Consortium Enrollment?
- Our consortium services may be appropriate for: Independent owner-operators.
- Small trucking companies.
- Commercial motor carriers.
- Transportation businesses with DOT-regulated drivers.
- Eligible employers with employees subject to applicable DOT random-testing requirements.
- Whether you operate one commercial vehicle or manage a fleet, contact us to discuss eligibility and the enrollment requirements for the appropriate consortium program.
- **IMPORTANT:Consortium enrollment alone does not guarantee compliance with every DOT requirement. Employers and owner-operators remain responsible for applicable testing, recordkeeping, policy, reporting, and other regulatory obligations. Additional services may be available depending on your needs and the applicable program.
