STATEMENT FROM THE TEAM
Our collectors are trained and experienced professionals. We know what to look for and there are several safeguards in place to prevent deception and fraud in the testing procedures. It is extremely difficult to “cheat” a urine drug test when executed properly. Drug metabolites cannot be “flushed” out by drinking extra fluids, taking diuretics, or using any of the market detoxification products.
Urine drug testing is the most commonly used and widely accepted method to test for recent drugs use. These tests can be used to identify a wide range of illegal and prescription drugs. Scheduled and random testing is necessary for maintaining a drug free workplace. We perform pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion basis, post accident, and follow-up testing.
1. Individuals will be asked to lock up all purses, bags, wallets, and fanny packs, to remove jackets, coats, and contents of all pockets and turn them inside-out.
2. Adding chemicals or diluting a specimen will cause it to be flagged as “inconclusive” .
3. Bringing "clean" urine provided by someone else in most cases will be noticed by the test administrator, because the temperature will almost certainly be out of range which cause it to be flagged.
In addition to drug metabolites, urine drug testing may also measure pH, creatinine, nitrates, temperature, and any adulterants that may have been added to the urine specimen. This prevents attempts to manipulate test results.
These actions to influence the results of a drug test initiate red flags requiring a second test taken under “direct observation” in plain view of the test administrator the entire time. Non-compliance will result in a failure.
These types of urine tests are the only method allowed for DOT and other federally mandated tests. A urine test procedure is quick, easy, and the least expensive method to test for drug use.

Who is required to complete drug screening?
- Do you drive a Truck, Bus, Tractor Trailer?
- Are you self-employed or an owner operator?
- Do you drive a Bus or vehicle that is capable of transporting 16 or more passengers including the driver?
- Do you operate a commercial vehicle that has a gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds (11,794 kilograms) or more?
- Do you drive a vehicle of any size that is required to be placarded when being used to transport hazardous materials in accordance with 49 CFR part 172, subpart f?
If you answer YES to ANY of these questions...
....You must comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing criteria.
